VAT(Value Added Tax) imposed on all mobile companies in Pakistan

Government has announced 16% value added tax on all mobile companies operating in Pakistan.Government previously impose GST and now VAT is added with it.It means when you load a 100 rupees card you will get 67 rupees instead of 84.It means deduction of 33 rupees.

People from all genres severely protest against VAT because it involves only customers not mobile companies.Mobile companies are still earning same amount and the whole burden is imposed on customers.VAT also will effect sms and call packages announced by all companies.PTA has not yet said anything about VAT but it is surely to be applied and will be announced in Budget.

As we all know that Mobile is only thing left that all people used whether rich or poor.Government and mobile companies gradually making it difficult for a man to hand a mobile.There are a lot of young people i saw commonly get a load of 20 to 30 rupees and imagine what they will get now in presence of VAT when they load 20 to 30 rupees.
